once upon a time there was a girl. a girl who had lost her hope in love. she had forgotten what it felt like to be in love. to breathe love in her heart. to feel that ecstasy, to feel that free. one day, unsuspecting, she awoke not knowing that this day would be different than the other days. she woke and found a message from a boy. a boy who had admired something she created. his words were gentle and poetic. like a sage. instantly her heart felt like fire. this was no ordinary boy. ordinary boys couldn't make her feel that way. this boy was magical. he was of the wizard kind. she began to compose a song that night. something she had never done before. and she sang it. her heart floating so high, not even a second thought about how many miles they were apart. yes, he breathed in a different horizon. somewhere across the earth. still, his presence was magnetic. it was vibrant. like a diamond shining in her eyes. his words were always poetic, no matter what he said. she knew she was in trouble but she was helpless to stop it, he had already won over her heart. sadly the story ends before it began to grow any more. he insisted that they could never be. they were only a dream, only a fable. there was simply too much in the way of their love. and he left. but her heart was still on fire, and the tears...they ran like acid down her face. another dream lost, another dream gone.
she still thinks of him sometimes... though many moons have passed and shadows have grown over their paths. she holds him in her memory. like a precious stone that no one can ever take away. not even the winds of time.
